“LOST has been to me what god is to so many other people: salvation. Years ago, I heard an old comforting song echoing through the house and, curious, went to the source of it. It was the first episode of season 2 of LOST. I was hooked. Since then, I’ve learned so much by being interested in all the mysteries of the show. Learned a lot about philosophy, religion, science; and discovered some amazing books. Found comfort in a beautifully-crafted story, with vivid characters and rich ideas. There’s no telling what life would be like without a television show like this to remind me there is more to life. Because of this, I’m going to live it- not hide from it.”

“Lost is all about gamesmanship. There are clear sides but the rules change depending on your time and place. Like any game, the winner is declared only at the end. Even when it seems someone is making a wise move, it can change because you don’t control the board. The safest way to play the game is to play with your heart. That’s the only way to get back to start.”

“Lost sparks the notion that science never implied ‘there is no God’. Quite the contrary. Science, whether fiction or not, is developing a language to interpret God’s work to help better communicate with him… Time travel has been around since man could speak. When one tells a story is that not time travel? The idea ‘Lost’ proposes is that time travel is just as much spiritual as it is scientific. This is beyond inventive, it is true.”
