“LOST has been to me what god is to so many other people: salvation. Years ago, I heard an old comforting song echoing through the house and, curious, went to the source of it. It was the first episode of season 2 of LOST. I was hooked. Since then, I’ve learned so much by being interested in all the mysteries of the show. Learned a lot about philosophy, religion, science; and discovered some amazing books. Found comfort in a beautifully-crafted story, with vivid characters and rich ideas. There’s no telling what life would be like without a television show like this to remind me there is more to life. Because of this, I’m going to live it- not hide from it.”

“I don’t watch Lost. I don’t really know anyone who watches Lost. I tried to watch an episode once because I thought the big guy was Rupert from Survivor. He wasn’t. Instead, it was some random big guy being chased though the jungle, periodically stopping to engage in bouts of nonsensical dialogue with a suburban MILF who never blinked and a shirtless Korean guy. Comically tense screeching violins bracketed every commercial break. I never watched again.”
